Research
After getting a brief understanding of the product, we went on capturing the insights from the potential users of the platform. To conduct an extensive research study we used various research methodologies.
Exploratory research is conducting research around a topic where little or none is known about it. The purpose of an exploratory study is to gain a deep understanding and familiarity of the topic by immersing yourself as much as you can in order to create a direction for how this data could be potentially used in the future. With exploratory research, you have the opportunity to gain new insights and create worthwhile solutions for bigger issues more meaningful than what already exists.

Card swap would let the user see the two sets of information by click on their respective card.

A four-step monthly overview of the student's performance would be a key feature for the parents.
Highlights show a semester overview of the student’s performance.
Important exam/test results can be presented in a graphical format.

Parents can view live test results and can contact the teacher if required.
Teachers feel their efforts are not appreciated enough. Teacher appreciation is a good way to ​motivate them as well.

Emotional Sensitisation
Parents feel the emotional condition of their child is the most important. Results need to be shown upfront with suggestions to cheer him up as well.
Physical fitness is essential for a child's development. A physical report of steps walked (calculated using the Eduhex device) would be displayed. Along with a BMI Card to show the child's health status.

Parents can see the location of their child to know whether they are in school or they are traveling.
Messages
Recent received unread messages will be posted on the dashboard so that they don't miss them. This would make communication between all stakeholders easier.
Upcoming Events
Parents can view all upcoming events around the city. Suggested events would also be highlighted based on the students performance.
Social/Interpersonal Skills
An Overall Interpersonal Score will be generated along with specific interpersonal skills showing the students strengths and areas of improvement.
An Observation book can be opened from here wherein the teacher can write/upload detailed notes.
Assessments
Recent assessment results will be shown here. Parents can appretiate the teacher or message them.
They can filter and view tests of a different subject or topic as well.
The Main learning gap arises when students are not clear with the basics. Detailed assessment views will show topics the student still needs to work on.
Physical reports
The basic physical overview would consist of the steps(from the Eduhex device) and BMI of the student.
It would be great to know if the platform tells me how should parents plan their child’s diet. Parents can see a customised fitness plan (steps to cover, diet plan, exercises etc.) for the student based on the health records.
Suggestions
Actionable tips for the parents will be helpful.
Each suggestion will be given a tag to understand its nature along with a primary and secondary text to explain basic details. It will also tell you the number of parents who have shown interest in the particular suggestion.
